What To Look For When Choosing a Techno Sample
It can be hard to correctly identify Techno samples. Usually they’re characterized by a basic four on the floor beat around 120-150 bpm, easy to follow and create. The difficult part is making sure you are using sounds that stick with Techno and are not branching into other genres. Techno usually is all based around low frequencies. Something that can rattle the subwoofers and make you bounce. The main melody is done by a bass or even the percussion sounds, with some synths mixed in for taste. We aren’t going to be too picky when it comes to Techno samples, as long as they meet the general sound.
