This will be enough for a commute to and from work. Although in an ideal world I’d recommend choosing one with 8+ hours so you don’t have to charge it every day.
Mounting:
Not all portable speakers have a bike mount system. I chose speakers for this list based on their mounting capabilities. All of these are easy to connect to bikes or backpacks. If you look elsewhere for a portable bike speaker then double-check it has the right mounting tools!
Controls:
Not all speakers have the same control options. I think for cycling, the safest bet is to choose a speaker which has built-in control buttons. This way you don’t have to worry about pulling your phone out of your pocket when you want to change a song or turn the volume up or down.
